A century-old art-deco shell gutted into a three-stage sound labyrinth — main hall, coffee shop, and basement. Walls that sweat. A roof that trembles. Located on Main Street, Mesa — 20 minutes east of downtown Phoenix.
Desert Grey Music Festival is a one-day Arizona music festival built around local and regional artists, community, and a bigger-stage festival experience. The festival is multi-stage, artist-forward, and focused on celebrating the rising Arizona music scene.
Desert Grey Music Festival happens Saturday, October 3, 2026 at The Nile Theater, 105 W Main St, Mesa, AZ 85201. Doors open at 2:00 PM. Music runs across three stages — Main, Underground, and Coffee Shop — until 11:00 PM.
25+ bands across three stages. Also featured are brand, sponsors, and vendor booths. The lineup drops in waves from now until the week of the show! Follow @desertgreymusicfestival for announcements.
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 12, 2026 via the official Desert Grey website and ticket link on PurplePass. Early Bird tickets are $20 the first week only, then $25 during pre-sale. Day-of door price is $30. Desert Grey ticket bundle items will be available for pickup at the festival. If not picked up day of festival, they will be shipped out to the purchaser in the week following the festival.
Yes. Desert Grey Music Festival is planned as an all-ages event. Guests must be 21+ and have a valid ID at doors to purchase alcohol (wristbanded). Parents and guardians should use judgment with younger fans. Venue requires kids under 12 to have "over-ear" protection.
The Nile has a clear bag policy for shows. Bring a small clear bag, and avoid backpacks, large bags, or anything that may slow down entry. All bags may be checked by security.
The schedule will be released the week of the festival on our official website and socials (@desertgreymusicfestival). Be ready to visit all 3 stages and discover your new favorite local artists!
Yes. We're livestreaming all three stages. More info coming soon!
Battle of the Bands is a campaign within the festival. Local and regional bands apply between June 19 and June 30, contestants get voted on by fans through July and August, and the winner earns a Main Stage slot at Desert Grey 2026. The festival giveaway runs throughout festival day. We are giving away sponsor-donated prizes and gift bags including: experiences, gift cards, branded gear. Winners are announced live on the main stage throughout the day!
Food and drinks are expected to be available through The Nile/The Underground/The Nile Coffee Shop and approved festival vendors. Alcohol will only be available to guests with valid ID and wristband who are 21+. Water, food, and drink details will be posted closer to the festival.
If you have a digital ticket, you may give the ticket to someone else, but only the first valid scan will work. Do not post your ticket or QR code publicly. If your ticket is at will call, the original purchaser may need the matching ID and payment card, so contact Purplepass or the festival team ahead of time if someone else needs to pick it up. Desert Grey is not responsible for third-party resale issues, duplicate screenshots, or tickets bought from unofficial sellers.
All sales are generally final. Refunds, exchanges, or credits are only handled in limited situations, such as if the event is canceled, postponed, or significantly changed, and those decisions are controlled by the event organizer and ticketing policies.
Desert Grey is planned inside The Nile Theater, The Underground, and Nile Coffee Shop, so the festival is expected to continue rain or shine unless the venue or festival team announces otherwise. Rain by itself does not automatically mean the event is canceled or refundable.
The Nile Theater’s main theater space and coffee shop are wheelchair accessible. The Underground is only accessible by stairs, but venue staff may be able to help with accommodations. Anyone who needs accessibility support should contact the venue before the festival.
Parking is available behind The Nile Theater, along with available street parking in downtown Mesa. Plan to arrive early, especially if you want to catch the first bands.
Official updates will be shared through the Desert Grey website, ticket page, and social media (@desertgreymusicfestival). Use the official ticket link when buying tickets, and avoid unofficial resale links or screenshots from people you do not know.
